He started his career in the legal department of an investment bank, worked for several years in a firm specializing in strategic commercial litigation and legal opinions, and, before joining the firm as a partner, worked for about 20 years in a full service firm associated with a large international firm. He led national and international practice groups in previous offices and participated in several steering committees. Represented clients in several types of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, project finance, capital markets, debt restructuring, privatizations, joint ventures, among others. Solid knowledge in analysis, drafting and negotiation of domestic and international contracts, risk analysis of contracts and projects of significant value. Extensive experience in strategic analysis of dispute resolution methods, both in risk analysis and evaluation, in addition to assisting clients in the implementation of litigation strategies. Vast experience in advising clients on current legal issues affecting fintech’s, new technologies and startups. Assisted fintech entities and investors in setting up operations in Brazil. Advised clients on compliance, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, and anti-bribery issues.
