Patricia is a partner in the Regulation, Competition and Infrastructure áreas. She has a doctorate (2012) and a master’s degree (2006) from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a degree (2001) from PUC-Rio. She is a professor of undergraduate, master’s and doctorate degrees in Regulatory Law at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas School of Law in Rio de Janeiro (FGV Direito Rio) and is a researcher at the Center for Research in Law and Economics (CPDE/FGV Direito Rio). Patricia was a “Distinguished Visiting Professor” at George Mason University – Antonin Scalia Law School (2024). She has published several books and scientific articles on infrastructure regulatory law and is one of the coordinators of the Regulation Committee of the Brazilian Institute of Competition, Consumer and International Trade Studies (Ibrac). She is also a member of the Administrative Law Commission and the Energy and Energy Transition Commission of the Institute of Brazilian Lawyers (IAB), the Special Electric Energy Commission (CEELE) of the OAB-RJ and the editorial board of the Revista Brasileira de Transportes, published by FGV Transport. She is the author of several articles on the topics of regulation, administrative law and infrastructure.
