Recognized for his work in litigation, he focuses mainly on the construction, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors. He has extensive experience as a lawyer in international disputes involving the Brazilian market.

He has worked as an associate lawyer and partner in the litigation departments of renowned national and international law firms. He also acted as pro bono lawyer for the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. He is currently head and partner of the Litigation and Arbitration departments of Rennó Penteado Sampaio Advogados. He is also a professor in the Post-Graduation Programs of Fundação Getulio Vargas, IBMEC, PUC-RJ and Escola Superior de Advocacia (ESA).
