He has broad experience in the litigious and consulting tax area, with a main focus on tax litigation and a strong presence in Administrative and Judicial Courts. He is recognized for his technical mastery of the issues in the area and for his ability to identify potential tax exposures and prevent them from materializing. He handles clients from various sectors, such as tobacco companies, the food industry, IT, hotels, supermarkets, oil and gas, and commerce in general.

He was a partner of a renowned full service law firm, with substantial experience in tax litigation. He is currently a partner in the tax department of Rennó Penteado Sampaio Advogados.

He has a master’s degree in Procedural Law from Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ)
