Partner at Rennó Penteado Sampaio since 2018, Cândida de Paula Machado is responsible for the Family Business area, with a focus on advising business families on family governance issues, and individuals on estate and succession planning, including experience in offshore structures. The area’s activities include assistance in drafting governance instruments, partner agreements, family pacts, property holdings, wills, donation instruments, prenuptial and stable union agreements, among other instruments, and succession law consulting. Previous practice in Corporate Law, with emphasis in mergers and acquisitions.  Member of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners) and the Brazilian Institute of Family Law – IBDFAM.
